A historic opportunity for Geneva and Switzerland
The rapid development of artificial intelligence and digital technologies is creating major challenges in governance, digital sovereignty, ethics and public policy.
The planned World Summit on Artificial Intelligence in Geneva in June 2027 provides a unique opportunity to strengthen Switzerland and Geneva's position at the centre of global technology governance, alongside the United Nations, CERN, ITU and WIPO.
